STUDIO GANG

Lead Design Architect Studio Gang is an internationally celebrated architecture and urbanism practice led by Jeanne Gang. They will define the overall design concept and vision for the O’Hare Global Terminal, ensuring it will become an extraordinary new architectural landmark for the city.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices in New York, San Francisco, and Paris, Studio Gang is known for innovative buildings that enhance the public space around them. They have completed such award-winning Chicago projects as the Aqua Tower, Writers Theatre, Eleanor Boathouse, and the under-construction Vista Tower which, when complete, will be the third tallest in the city. In addition, Studio Gang is currently designing civic, cultural and educational projects across the Americas, including the new United States Embassy in Brazil, an expansion of the American Museum of Natural History in New York and a new campus for California College of the Arts in San Francisco.

SOLOMON CORDWELL BUENZ

Executive Architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) has been designing and delivering large-scale and complex projects in Chicago, and throughout the country, for over 85 years. They will manage the project team and the technical execution of the O’Hare Global Terminal, as well as oversee its construction.

Founded in Chicago in 1931, the award-winning architecture, interior design, and planning firm is recognized for its thoughtful design vision, technical expertise, and forward-thinking portfolio of work. With 500+ completed projects in the city of Chicago, the firm is a leader in integrated design, combining technology, sustainability and a whole-systems approach to produce some of the region’s most innovative projects.

Lead Engineer Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. is one of Chicago’s top full-service engineering firms with extensive experience at O’Hare International Airport. They will provide comprehensive engineering oversight, balancing design and constructability goals.

Associate Architect STLarchitects is an award-winning Chicago architecture and urban design firm. They will develop elements of the design that pertain to user experience, universal design and wayfinding.
